Detach Image

When exploring images using the Windows Explorer, a virtual drive is created when the image is mounted and a drive letter is assigned to it. When you no longer wish to view the image or wish to free up the drive letter for something else, you can detatch from the image.

You are presented with a simple dialog listing all the drives that are used to mount Macrium Reflect images. Simply select the ones you wish to detach from and click Detach

It is also possible to unmount images in a Windows Explorer window. Start a My Computer explorer window.

Then select the drive of the mounted image (in this case F: drive), right click and then select Unmount Macrium Image as highlighted in red.
