MS-DOS Batch File Generation Options

Applies to: Standard, Professional and Server Editions of Macrium Reflect only.

 

 

It is possible to create MS-DOS batch files to execute the XML definition files. in order to make this simple, Macrium Reflect provides a basic wizard to generate one for you which can be edited at a later time.

In order to create an MS-DOS batch file, right-click on the XML definition file you wish to script and select 'Generate an MS-DOS Batch File'

This dialog gives the following options:

Directory

Enter the location where you would like the batch file to be created

File name

The name of the batch file

Backup type

Choose from Full, Incremental or Differential

The MS-DOS batch file will be generated in the location selected and can be run manually, or scheduled within Macrium Reflect.
